Hello everyone,

If you read the regulations and guidelines and if you signed up for this competition, you should be listed down here.

On this thread you may put out challenges to your opponent.

Yes, in a tournament can be a "winner", but here, no.
Here we have no mercy on the ones that are good.
You are good ? You made it to the top of the ladder ?
Well, you better be ready, cause now you are Number One target for everyone else. If you want to maintain your position, you have to fight for it,
to accept any challenge that comes in your way. Lose 1 challenge, lose the top of the ladder position. Simple as that.
This isn't a girls tournament, this is a competition for the men. Here the fights never end, and nobody ever gets to sit back and enjoy his position.

Still... as this is a ladder competition, there is, indeed, at top of the ladder. I was thinking, indeed for some kind of perks given to the ones that make it to that position.
These perks will only be given to them for as long as they can keep their position and as long as they accept all challenges.
Anyhow, I will not release any further details regarding these perks until this competition counts over 25 members.

Ok,since alot of you failed to read the regulations and guidelines thread first before signing up i'll say it here for more ease.
You need atleast 2 outside ladder competition duels(which you won) to be able to sign up for the ladder competition.

This Is My Suggestion:

- When Somebody Want's To Prepare A Duel, Most Post Here A Thread Like: [Yak]Enzo_Ferrara vs [Yak]Akira_Oyamada.
Then, When The Competitors Are Preparing To Their Duel, All Admins Teleport Everyone To SF Stadium (Inside Of The SF Stadium)
The Spectators Most Stand In The Tops And The Competitors In The Arena.
And Some1 Will Be In The Arena Like The Referee.

If you follow this link, you will find out this is the support forum section for our ladder type competition. This link will provide you with the competition's requirements, regulations and guidelines and, below you will be able to sign-up for it. But, remember: read and make sure you meet the requirements before you try to sign-up.

Fights regulations and guidelines [Second to read]

Hello,

This thread is meant to provide the official regulations and information you will need in order to participate on our ladder competition. If you would like to read the welcoming information regarding this idea, please follow this link.

1st article: Requirements
In order to participate to our competition you must fulfill the followings:
- rank 6
- 2 duels won*
- 50 kills
- 50 infected
- post on this thread with "I read and understand the rules"

2nd article: Location(s)
For the time being all fights will be held at Los Santos Graveyard.
The limits of the graveyard are considered its very own wall.
The sidewalk outside the wall is not considered as part of the "fighting area".

3rd article: Winning
The match will consist of 2 fights, each player fights once as survivor and once as zombie.
In case the score is 1-1 after these 2 fights, the winner will be declared based on the amount of Health left at the end of the fight he won.
e.g. During Joe vs. Mark's match, Joe wins as survivor and has 43HP left, but loses as zombie and leaves Mark with 49HP. Mark will be the winner of the match since Joe had lesser health at the end of the first fight.

4rd article: Disqualification
A player is disqualified and removed from the competition for 1 week if attempts any of the following:
- usage of a different weapon other then the ones stated within these rules
- usage of a different perk other then the ones stated within these rules
- bunny-hopping
- "alt-tabbing" or "pausing"
- usage of any other inventory item other then the ones stated within these rules
- exiting, leaving or being forced out of the "fighting area" (stated in the 2nd article)

5th article: Survivors
All players will benefit ONLY of the following during their fights:
- health: 100
- equipment:
---- Silenced 9mm or Dual 9mms (/weapons)
---- any of the ranks 1-19 melee weapons
- inventory
---- Allowed to use 1 Dizzy Away pill
---- Allowed to use the Flashlights
- perks
---- Less BiTE damage

6th article: Zombies
All players will benefit ONLY of the following during their fights:
- health: 80
- equipment:
---- BiTE
- perks
---- Hard BiTe
---- Digger
---- Refreshing BiTE
---- Jumper

7th article: Entering the competition and matches
In order to participate into the competition you must, after meeting the requirements, sign-up into this thread.

In order to start a match you must find an willing to fight opponent.
To find your opponent go to this thread and follow the instructions.

8th article: Points system
- Each signed-up player will be added into our database that will contain the following information:
Player_Name

<1st ever opponent> <2nd opponent> ...
- The score is counted by this algorithm: 2 x matches won + 1 x matches won by the highest HP left rule + (-1) x Matches lost
- The opponents name colors:
---- against who he won will be colored green
---- against who he won by the highest HP left rule will be colored yellow
---- against who he loss will be colored red

9th article: Top 15 list and special rules
- What is "top 15" ? Simply as it sounds, top 15 players. First based on their first 5 matches scores, then the ladder challenging system applys.
- What is "first 5 matches scores" ? After all signed-up players have 5 matches each, a first Top 15 will be created based on the Points system (see 8th article)
- What is "the ladder challenging system" ?
---- anyone outside Top 15 may only challenge and fight the player on the 15th place.
---- 15th to 9th placed players may only challenge and fight the players standing not more then 3 positions away.
e.g.: 15th challenges straight 12th, but not 11th.
13th challenges straight 10th, but not 9th
---- 8th to 1st placed players may only challenge and fight the players not more then 2 positions away.
e.g. 8th challenges straight 6th, but not 5th
4th challenges straight 2nd, but not 1st
- Once the Top 15 list is made, even if a player gains more points fight "outsiders" then a player that is on this list, he cannot be introduced to the list until he challenges the 15th player. Then, the ladder challenging system applys.

10th article: Accounting and keeping track of the scores/positions
- At all times, the only people allowed to set up a match for the competition are the Head Admins.
- A match will NOT take place until the listing system isn't fully updated with the previous match's results
- The Head Admin that sets up the match is responsible for the regulations to apply and must be a witness of the fight all the time
- The Head Admin will check the Health of the alive player after each fight, just in case of a 1-1 when it's needed to establish the winner.

11th article: Special ranking for the Top 15
When two players whom are both listed on Top 15 fight each other, in the event that the lower listed one defeats the higher listed one, then they switch places.
e.g. Place 14 challenges and beats 11. Result: the player from 14 moves to 11 and the player from 11 moves to 14.

Hello everyone and welcome,

Welcome to Los Santos Apocalypse's first wide open player vs. player arbitrated and accounted competition! This is meant to provide a controlled, equal and fair fight environment for all and any players that would like to participate. It's rules will ensure that each fight is carried based only on your own abilities and skills. We, the organizers will host and ensure the accounting of all fights, keeping track of your position on the ladder after each fight.

This competition idea that our administration team has been discussing for about 2 weeks now, is actually Ownage? / Ryoto_Oyasuka's proposal. It has its origins from HammerHead's "duels" but bought to another level of complexity. While the server's script keeps track of a very detailed rank system for each player, you can never stand up and say you are, skills-wise, better then a lower rank. It is because the server advantages you with a larger selection of perks and/or weapons. This problem will be solved because not only will we organize the players fighting from equal positions, but we will make sure that ALL fights will be fought at equal levels. (e.g.:This means that the winner between a rank 6 and a rank 7 will be just as important as the winner between a rank 17 and a rank 19.) In fewer words, we will concentrate on the players' abilities and not on his weapons/perks.
